Fazilah Joins the Wood’s Homes Leadership Team

We are happy to share that our Founder and Clinical Director, Fazilah Shariff, is starting a new position as Board Advisory Committee Member (Quality Improvement) at Wood's Homes!

Wood's Homes provides vital mental health services to children, youth, and families across Alberta. The QI Board Advisory Committee plays an important role in ensuring that care remains safe, effective, and focused on continuous improvement.

She is looking forward to contributing my governance and strategy experience to support the organization’s quality initiatives. Over the past several years, She has served on boards and committees focused on health, social services, and community impact—work that has deepened her commitment to strong governance, thoughtful oversight, and mission-aligned decision-making.
